Our congregation has been moving towards building a new church. The church has purchased property just outside of Pleasant Hill in hopes that we would build a building that would grow with us. We have been moving towards those hopes each year and continue to move towards our new building. Our building committee has been meeting with a contractor over the last several months. We have had a floor plan drawn up that meets our needs as well as our budget. Please keep checking back here for more updates as we move towards building our new building.
"Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does it's work."
Here is the information that was presented to the congregation July 15th. There will be a vote on July 29th during the service. If you do not plan on being there on July 29th or you simply wish to cast your vote early, please feel free to return to the home page and fill out the ballot and send in the information that way. All ballots will be collected and counted with the votes received on July 29th.
Here is the concepts that were voted on by the congregation on Jan. 7th 2018:
The Building Committee is has been searching for builders to draw up blue prints and work with us to build our building. They have met with several contractors around the area. There has been a presentation of the next steps that will be taken if approved by the congregation. There are poles out at the church property if you would like to stop out there and see what the size of the building would look like. The property is on the corner of Cox Rd. and St. Rt. 48.
